Non test element http proxy server saved in jmx file

Michele Mase'
It it possible to save the http proxy server configuration in the test file
(.jmx), in order to avoid adding it every time you re-open for editing the
test itself?
I record the test plan with the http proxy; i save the test plan and i close
it. When I open the test plan again, the http proxy server that is in the
workbench area is gone. So, if I want to record again, i must add the proxy
server again.

No, the workbench is not saved.

However, you can select the workbench and save it separately.
It can then be merged into the current test plan.

Just drag and drop does the trick.

In my scripts under the testplan I created a thread group called Recording Group.
I dragged the HTTP Proxy Server into this Thread group so save it with the jmx file.

I also added a Recording Controller to the 'Recording Group' and in the HTTP Proxy Server set the Target Controller to use recording controller.
